This one is better than the ones I've seen being taken apart on youtube, I probably wouldn't even have known if the moonphase settings had worked. Still sucks that it's fake. Evitzee makes a good point too, I have 3 real 3861s, but it's the principle. Maybe ebay needs to have swatches authenticated now.

No sir, even when doing yard work I wear a real, full strength watch, no plastic junk will encircle my horological dedicated wrist!
But I just read a post of you buying a Simpsons Swatch....

That was bought for my wife for Valentine's day. I don't wear it.

The amount of fakes out there is crazy and the number people who buy even crazier; like they know they're probably buying a fake, then they post "is it fake?? It's fake isn't it"

If swatch group had more stores, or actually made them available online it wouldn’t be a problem. I won’t be buying any more moonswatches anyway.

I think it's a price thing: they're easy to fake w/ a ton of margin & there's ton of demand.

I would guess 80% of the people buying them are looking for a deal.

I could believe when I bought my from a Swatch store, the ritual I had to go through, like I was buying the Hope Diamond. WTF??
