Ah interesting, ok thanks
Incorrect bracelet, good to know!
Let's just say "less appropriate".

On the official bracelet reference charts on this site, that model does not appear. They were intended to have leather straps.

Hmm ok cool, well once the movement is serviced and running like a top I was intending on using a leather strap for it.
I think I’ll sell the bracelet, thanks again

I should think you could get $200 for it, depending on length.

I don’t understand it when people start a thread asking for comments then get their knickers in a twist if the watch in question is criticised.

If you just wanted people to tell you it’s nice, just start a thread saying “I’ve bought this”. Members are more critical of potential purchases and generally more complimentary of completed purchases.

Re the bracelet, these references certainly did come with a bracelet, not just a leather strap, but much more likely to be the 7 row BoR.

People put bracelets on them. That they are not listed in the bracelet list, as I said, means that Omega did not intend them to have bracelets.

I don’t believe that’s correct at all.

Just because one list you’ve seen doesn’t include that reference, it doesn’t make it exhaustive and confirm it was never intended to come on a bracelet.

Funny
Well come on man, me saying that I didn’t like that guys’ “ maybe a hundred bucks” comment doesn’t mean I don’t want the negative feedback. He was just being flat out rude

I really don't give a shit what you believe. It's not one list, it's the extant lists all available on this site. Those references don't have compatible bracelets listed. Yes, people put them on. That only means that people put them on.

If you have proof otherwise, then share it.

I can’t speak for the guy but I didn’t read it that way. I took it more of “most watch are an ok buy at the right price, but we need to know what that price is to advise if it’s a buy or pass”.

You promulgating nonsense does no good for anyone, especially a new owner of a vintage Constellation.

Some believe what they want to believe. I have, for example, a KO 2627 I own was not intended to have a bracelet, either. People put them on anyways.

Yeah I get that, I’m just saying I don’t think his reply, written before your edit was meant in quite such a negative way.
Anyway, who cares, if you’re happy that’s all that matters. Part of the fun in all this is the unlimited subjectivity of buying vintage watches.
