What would be really interesting would be if the mods introduced a "dislike" option.
I can just imagine my likes to dislikes ratio. 😲

I don't like big bezels. I'd be a pariah in here.

Well seeing as this thread has turned into a like farm I might as well pile on in. Under the pretence of comparing 2017 prices with today’s, here’s a repost from back then 😁

And the OmegaForums version:

But only if they also introduce the “Wowbagger The Infinitely Prolonged” award for the OF member who manages to insult everybody on OF, individually, personally, one by one, and ... in Alphabetical Order.

Kudos to the OP who edited 15 images lines whilst coming up with original Omega theme ones.
That deserves a like.

I need 30 likes to get to 10.000... Could you please like me? I throw in a picture of my dog as a puppy. And yes, it's a big dog...

I’ll just say I proudly rarely post in WRUW.
My post to like will never beat a few people that also rarely post in wruw though.

That's one thread I rarely read or post in as well. Mostly because I tend to wear the same watch for long periods of time...

I'm only posting a watch with the same strap once in WRUW, I do actually like to check the thread to see watch/strap combo's to see what may be something I would consider.

I do on occasion when I get a new toy or get a watch sorted that I want to show off to the world (and it doesn’t really fit in any other thread)- not for the likes as I really don’t give a shit (I don’t do social media and don’t really understand why it matters) but just because I’m so thrilled and want to scream it to the heavens.

And this reminds me of a joke:
A man goes into a confessional and says to the priest “I am an 80 year old widower, I was happily married for 45 years, have 4 wonderful children and 8 grandchildren- and last night, I had wild passionate sex with a 25 year old woman.”
The priest asks, “how long has it been since your last confession?”
The man’s says “I have never been to confession, I am Jewish”
The priest asks “then way are you telling me this?”
The man replies “ Are you kidding, I am telling everyone!”

One of the nice things about the WRUW thread is that one gets to see watches one may not have seen before or watches one may not otherwise know anything about.

The photography aspect may be interesting to many as it is to me.

People play with backgrounds and lighting . . and include changes of environment, such as "my watch while piloting a tugboat" - or flying in a ultralight aircraft, or while hiking up a glacier. 😉

It doubles as a watch photography thread.

It's also a bit like window-shopping for watches.

This is true- I have seen many there that I have never seen before and immediately ran to eBay.

in fact, I saw a watch there months ago that I was smitten with, did a ton of research about the brand and now own 8 of them...2 I got from the original poster from the WRUW thread.

Agree with all the above. 👍 If fact, sometimes I wish there was an algorithm that would require the inclusion of a photo about the activity, environment, etc. in addition to the watch... 😀

Plus, there is the arm hair and skin condition of everyone's arms to ponder.

I didn't realize I had so many freckles on my forearms until I posted in the WRUW thread. 😀

Or in my case "my watch as I'm hitchhiking a ride to the 7-11 to get a microwave burrito and big gulp.
