Well seeing as this thread has turned into a like farm I might as well pile on in. Under the pretence of comparing 2017 prices with today’s, here’s a repost from back then 😁

That's one thread I rarely read or post in as well. Mostly because I tend to wear the same watch for long periods of time...
One of the nice things about the WRUW thread is that one gets to see watches one may not have seen before or watches one may not otherwise know anything about.
The photography aspect may be interesting to many as it is to me.
People play with backgrounds and lighting . . and include changes of environment, such as "my watch while piloting a tugboat" - or flying in a ultralight aircraft, or while hiking up a glacier. 😉
It doubles as a watch photography thread.
It's also a bit like window-shopping for watches.
