“Likes” Farming

Everyone knows that reaching a post count of 200 opens the door to the sales room, but once that’s been achieved what else can be aspired too ? I reckon it the “likes” count, and more importantly the mythical “likes : post ratio”. This seems to be a great way to gain credibility without doing anything credible !

So please out them here. The posters of cat and dog photos, those changing watches for the evening just so they can hit WRUW twice a day, and all those ratting on post farmers to get the adoration of others !

And those starting pointless threads as a means to the same ends 😁

Is there actually any benefit to having lots of likes?
I've heard that once you score 50.000 likes you can walk into a Rolex shop and exchange the likes for a ceramic watch. Any model.😗

I believe you can jump the queue. You get 10,000 likes per non-desirable Rolex bought from an AD at full retail price.

That's cheeky move but it is clever, very clever idea, I will give you a like for sharing the idea 😁

This thread is like listening to a teenager, like, where every second word, like, has to have like in it....
For that, I'm not giving the OP a 'like'.
But feel free to like my post, as it validates my existence like nothing else can 😁

Farming for likes is something that I dislike. It's wrong...

Anyway, did I show you guys this cute photo of a puppy with a bow tie ?

I wonder if a huge number of "Likes" could be generated with a financial incentive.

Maybe hold a monthly contest that the person giving you the most "Likes" that month wins a prize.

The prize could be something small, like a pair of genuine Omega Spring Bars.

This would probably create hundreds (maybe even thousands) of extra "Likes" every month. 😀

Yes, the sun shines a little brighter on you and there is a certain spring in your step recognisable only to true Omega lovers.

An accusation which could easily be levelled at this pointless thread.....

What would be really interesting would be if the mods introduced a "dislike" option.
I can just imagine my likes to dislikes ratio. 😲

I'd say the ratio would be 1:1, asuming you dump your 3,715 current likes and start from scratch.

😉
