Is that the original Tritium only that glows?

I assume that shot is with a black light. I don’t really consider that glowing? Radium does the same thing.

Yes guys, the picture was taken with a UV light shining on the dial. Without it, there is essentially no lingering glow at all from the 50+ year old tritium. But with it...wow! 😵‍💫

Are those numerals raised or applied?
Applied. Better view of that here (before I replaced the crystal with a much better one).

Wow, that is tremendous! The only other vintage chronographs I'm aware of with a full set of applied numerals are a couple of Pateks. (There aren't really even that many with raised numerals.) Do you know of any others?

Certainly seen it with Patek, but I’ll confess I haven’t paid enough attention to other brands of chronos that might have applied numerals from that era.
Thanks, @billving for chiming in!

Angelus Crhonodatoluxe (some versions)
Any example you could provide? I'd love to see it. I found a few attractive models with applied numerals at 12 and 6, but I'm referring to ones where all hour markers present are applied numerals.

What's the reference number of your Tri-Compax? Also, probably a formality, but...dibs? 😗

It’s an 18k yellow gold 12253 from the mid-1940s I believe.

22242 with service dial and moon. Still one of my favorite pieces.

A neighbour of mine has this one after his father. He’s not into watches at all, so it’s a real sock drawer specimen, literally 😀

This is a strange bird that I've posted in the past, UG Tri-Compax with a HJ case usually found on UG Uni-Compax.
I personally put this period correct deco dial ! Wears beautifully, one of my favorites in my collection ! Definitely cool, but hard to believe it is original and unique, but who knows with UG .The movement fits perfectly in the case and pushers are perfectly aligned as good as my other 100 percent original examples ! Wonder what Sala would say about this one ?
