If I were looking for an original bracelet for my Clapton, what am I looking for?

I have the original strap with the UG buckle, but would love a bracelet to add to it.

We’re they fairly generic on bracelets during this period? Would a GF polerouter bracelet fit?

Peanuts in some circles---What do you think a 1950's NOS Rolex 62XX Daytona would go for???
Considering the complications, i continue to think the Tri's have some legs left-

I love that the 40s / 50s Tri Compax got some love at the auction. I love all Tri Compax, and feel that value wise the 40s and 50s should get as much love as the 60s and very early 70s Tri Compax.

I'm wondering how is it possible to have such cracks on the downsides of the lugs without any long-term or strong force / tension...

Imprinted on and fell in love with those years. The 60s models, I’d love to have one or two but that ship has sailed. This result is just insane.

Agree with you... given the pristine condition, someone really wanted it and just had the means to spend on this.

I mean, how often do you find one in a condition like this!?

    What do you mean?
This is due to the production process of those case. It's normal and no problem at all.

I don't understand what "cracks" you are referring to?

That Tricompax is truly a sight to behold! Not to mention those unpolished lugs.

And the price that it went for, phew! At this juncture, I'm just thankful for my current tricompax.

Actually this price is not welcome to me. I don’t intend to sell my Tri Compaxes. I’m hoping to add a couple more to my collection, and don’t want to pay the extra this née high.

Ummm also… I was bidding in the beginning and I got crushed early :(

Yes .. These are normal. Somewhere in the depths of this archive there is a discussion thread on these cases.
