This one. Because it is rare and beautiful.

If you would ask me to become a one watch guy it would however be this one - because it is everything you will ever need in a watch. You can use it when mixing concrete/doing construction work/working on the car - then go swimming and then on to a board meeting and if stranded in a little village in Peru without money it is as good as hard currency.

This one. I didn't buy it for status, I bought it
because it was the coolest thing I'd ever seen.
I went back to BB&B many times looking at it
before I felt I deserved to buy it.
I bought it in 1979 new and wore it daily for about
18 years. It was with me when I married, when my
children came into the world, when I succeeded and
when I failed. How could I pick anything else. I rarely
wear it now. But it will never be sold.

It's just too cool honestly. Its shiny, it's even brushed finished in some places but would never know it till really examined it up close, the platinum dial is just one of a kind that pictures can't do justice, the lume all over the watch is great, it's almost guaranteed to stay so flashy when under lighting for many many years, and it's Ceramic.

On Tuesdays or any day (not spent underwater) it has to be the Speedmaster.

My SMPc. Inky black dial, dreshes up with mesh, down with leather or rubber, perfect dimensions, and those little details, like the silver print on the date wheel that matches the text on the dial. If I could keep just one, this would be it.

One huh? It has to be 2...

The Geometer appeals to me in every way. It's nebulous history pre-dating the Speedmaster, the perfect size (for me)at 38mm and that combination of lucious chocolaty dial, sword hands and killer patina..The adjusted V-72 is just the icing on the cake.

But I think this one has an edge...I literally stumbled onto this one last year. It had just popped up on a sales forum at a price I thought was too good to be true but it was sold by a regular seller. My heart sank when the seller told me it had found a new hom but he gave me first dibs if the sale fell through. Lo and behold, two hours later it was mine!
I love this one especially for it's amazing dial and hefty size. The link to Jim Clark is also quite appealing. And again, an adjusted V-72 under the hood. That reverse Panda dial killls me everytime I look at it.

Dibs on the geo!

Well.. it is not fancy and not expensive, but Bradley Watch Co started building Mickey Mouse watches in January 1972, and this watch is my Birth year watch, a limited production "Walking Skinny" Mickey Mouse Watch

This one for its beautiful patina, the rich history and because I had to dive so deep into the MWO book to find a correct one ae3d2d3ef5738d0316eb64de8bdfa0eb.jpg

Runner up is this blue GS. Every time it hugs my wrist, my heart smiles shoulder to shoulder. 38d8e27dcfd8be457c6df888d7026db4.jpg

and this is #2...
My 1969 Hamilton Chrono-Matic ranks right up there. The Panda dial is the perfect balance of black & white. Lovely match-stick hands, and of course the famous Cal.11 movement with left crown. Love that the movement was co-developed between Heuer, Breitling, Hamilton and Dubois-Depraz in a partnership to create the first automatic chronograph movement, which in fact was launched in March 1969 with press conferences in Geneva and NYC.

Old photo posted in response to the same question on another forum far away. I've gotten a better A386 since then, but oddly, I don't think the selection for the top 3 has changed.
