That's from the late 1980s/early 1990s "Significant Moments". The outer box looks like this:- and my inner box has faired even less well
Hi Kingsrider, sorry for late reply, noticed your question just now. Yes, this was the original box the Mark came along. Don't know if it was standard that days but bought it as a fullfull set from the heir of the original owner, who was gifted with by his wifey at christmas in 1980
I thought its time for me to contribute as well. Been enjoying all your photos so far and I thank you for taking the time to share them. Here are a few boxes from the crapload I have that are somewhat more interesting.
As it is listed as a "silver plated" box it will not be the common Connie box - maybe a different contract box...
Very nice thread ! Does anybody knows for which model this box is ? Looks like the box you posted @gatorcpa but it has Chronometre Automatic on it..
I do not own a box like that, but I have seen them. Probably originally housed something like a Ref. 2517 like this: gatorcpa
Good evening can any of you box experts help out....... https://omegaforums.net/threads/omega-speedmaster-help.104729/page-3#post-1413766
Hi exerts, as I did not get any response in my regular post I try it also here... what do we have here? It looks like an early Speedy/Railmaster box but it is lacking the Omega wording on top (below the seahorse) Furher it is lacking the Omega logo on the front side... The insert does not look correct either - it looks like a DIY replacement... Is this a legitimate early Speedmaster/Railmaster box? Or is it a fake? Or is it the famed "P" box?
