Just got the watch back from my watchmaker with a new plexi installed. Looks brand new!

That'll be great! I got a SS buckle in 9mm which can work with a non tapering strap, but smaller definitely would be nicer.

I was just on eBay and coincidently saw a buckle in SS in 6mm. The ‘U’ looks quite ‘roundy’ to me, not saying its wrong but I can’t say for certain it is correct either - I guess you must have seen it and dismissed it if you’ve been on the lookout. Here it is anyway;

@berrychlossom if you really want another buckle you might want to check with @jojolamontre on Instagram, he was a UG collector before he (recently) set up shop as a dealer, and I know he was also buying buckles and all sorts of other stuff.
