King Faisal Constellation?

Came across this "King Faisal" dial Constellation while browsing the bay. I did a little digging and found other Constellations with this dude's face literally slapped onto the dial. Pretty comical honestly. I have no intention of bidding on this watch at the moment but it is pretty and I am curious about the history. Why were these made?

Used as gifts from the man himself or the royal family, probably done at a jewellery store in the country for the King.
Several iterations over time.
