Constellation redial or not?

Hi all!

I’m looking at this watch. I think the dial is TO perfect not to be s redial. Seller says it is not redial. What do your think? 😀

I think it is redial. The minute markers are far from the pie pan edge and the 5 min markers are far from the indices tips. They should touch like this.

... which, unfortunately, already seems to be the case.

At least, when I try to follow this link below, I just get directed to a general Danish Chrono24 page searching for a 167.005, rather than a particular listing

It’s not active - you can see it since you had it saved as a favorite, but it’s been offline for a bit. There’s no button to buy it on that page, too. You might see one in your chat with the seller, but if you use it to make an offer you’ll get an error message.

I think we have to be careful about judging these dogleg arrowheads against other 60s pie pan dials.

Whilst the indices closer to the pie pan edge is the norm for batten indices, as you say, if you study the dogleg arrowheads available for review, there is a trend for these dials to have the minute haches away from the pie pan edge.

This particular watch was the subject of a recent conversation and seeing both the front and back in close-up suggests that it is an original dial.
