Lol yes. I wouldn't just pull your leg for laughs. What is the model number just so I'm not confusing some other watch that reads similar? Do a search where I told you and you will be surprised. Disregard the subject line where it reads FS, FS LNIB, FSOT, etc... Many new watches are just listed without it being in the heading. And a PM to the guy everyone on here seems like (kringkily) it could be worth while too. There are many out there with manufacturer warranty from collectors, grey dealers, flippers, etc... Just a little time and patience will pay off. The watch is already on the cheaper side of luxury watches but the bang per buck is excellent IMO so if you just need it right now then the small savings over Joma may not be worth your time since the odds are in the purchaser's favor whether it will need warranty work within the time period or not. To some every penny saved is money earned and I respect that since my grandfather wouldn't even let me buy some items on his grocery list if they weren't on sale. I'm talking about a 75 yr old with at least 7 zeros behind numbers in his account yet if the sausage wasn't $0.30 cheaper than list price he'd rather just have cereal until it went on sale. Guess that's partially why he had the wealth that he did.

But yea. There are savings over Jomas pricing out there most likely pretty frequently from my limited search but they're not going to be huge. That's when your value of a dollar has to be realized. If dealing with a company (Joma) through PayPal and a credit card makes you feel more safe than just using PayPal with a detailed invoice from a forum member but getting a warranty is too risky for you to choose the later. I hope that made sense.

Thanks man your help is much appreciated
I spoke to Kringkily, he offered me a 28% discount. Great discount and much better then I'd get at any AD but still $600 more than Joma. Is the extra $600 worth it for the warrantee ? In my opinion no.
On the other end, I'm not sure who's selling new unworn sapphire sandwich speedy's with manufacturer warrantee for $3700, but I will def take a look. I also appreciate the piece of mind of getting it from someone reputable like joma where I know it is authentic with serial numbers etc.
Ill def take a look at the message boards you mentioned. I've been doing my research on this piece for many months and havnt found a new one that cheap so im intrigued.

If you want a Speedy Pro, just send a message to @Kringkily and tell him you want a new watch, not used. Why mess with a questionable seller when multiple people on this forum have told you to use him.

I've been trolling this forum for years in and out of the boutique and multiple ADs, and am still a bit apprehensive about spending $5k for a watch, but I'm finally going to pull the trigger do it, think I'll take all of your advice and send Kringkily a PM

I've had my speedy for a good 9 months now and I never get tired of looking at it. It is a watch that will last well beyond your lifetime, a magnificent piece of mechanical engineering you will be able to pass onto your children or grandchildren one day. It will never go out of style; a timeless classic. Pull the trigger. Kringkily is def reputable if youre looking for a used piece. If you're into a brand new piece like I was, I was very happy with my transaction with watchmaxx. They even got me the original omega warrantee card (which jomashop refused to provide).

Overall, my experience with them was fine. I ordered a Speedmaster with Hesalite, had it delivered next-day. Attached is precisely how things appeared upon opening the big black "Omega suitcase" -- definitely made me nervous. I touched nothing, moved nothing before taking this photo. But everything checked out.

It arrived December 7th, and I've kept it wound but in the box, testing it every couple of days with the hairspring app, just to keep a benchmark, with all stickers and whatnot in place. Just in case an issue were to come up -- so far no issues at all ~+5.5s/d -- I could return it in the same condition it was sent to me in.

I've been waiting to wear it starting January 1st, purely for sentimental reasons since we have a baby due in 2017 and I want to start wearing it in his birth year; this will become his watch probably in another 18 years. 😀

Anyway, Jomashop -- mostly a thumbs up, but major points against them for sloppiness. It's not any kind of a confidence boost to open the box and see a watch jangling about. (It doesn't appear to have moved from this position during transit, but still, it's absurd.)

Glad it went well and congratulations marcnorth! Honestly I don't know how you've waited this long, you have some serious determination on holding out till the 1st.

Anyhow I went with Kringkily for my new Speedmaster (005) and I have to say I am very impressed so far with his service and communication. I've PM'd, texted, and spoke with him over the phone several times today, he's been very responsive and quick with all the replies. He should be shipping it Monday hopefully!

Yea I'm paying a bit more than I could with Joma or watchmaxx but I don't mind at all when I get this kind of service!

Thanks, and yeah it's been weirdly fun and even a bit 'stressful' waiting to wear the thing, keeping it wound and boxed, sort of half expecting there might've been shenanigans since it came from a GM -- a first time buy that way for me. But last night I got it all de-stickered and ready to go on a strap and can't wait for midnight tonight.

From all reports it sounds like you made the best call since I've heard nothing but good things about Kringkily. Our local OB has hinted at a significant drop in servicing costs in early 2017, but even with that, there's a lot to be said about having that warranty card. Post some shots when yours lands!

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to know if any of you have any experience buying from Jomashop ?
Any issues ? Would you trust them buying a speedy pro ?
They guarantee authentic and with all original serial numbers. Just wondering if anyone has heard any horror stories etc

Thanks !!
Mark
I purchased from jomashop and the watch was nice but their customer service was appalling. Will never purchase again from them. Authentic watches was good though.

thanks for the advice !!
I ended up buying from watchmaxx and it was a positive experience for me. No Issues. Seems like the main go-to's are joma, watchmaxx, authentic, and prestigetime. Any others ?

Jomashop has pretty good prices but their watches all come without manufacturer's warranties. Instead you get a Jomashop warranty. That's a deal breaker for me.

I got a difficult to find model at 39% off. It didnot come with the manufacturers warranty cards and I knew that when I ordered it. It was wrapped with the original factory packaging / stickers/ hang tags and box. It had the serial numbers intact. Cosmetically, it was perfect and it is in perfect mechanical condition. I was pleased with their delivery time and follow up. List price was over 12K and saving that kind of money it was a no brainer. USED models cost more than what I paid Most used watches dont include the special presentation box. For this watch it was a great buy !!!

As long as a buyer is aware of the ins and outs of Jomashop, they're a fine option. I suspect part of the reason they offer such great prices on new Omegas is they buy them without the factory warranty. While a factory warranty is always nice insurance, with a quality brand like Omega it's less important than it would be with other brands. Like I said, especially with Omega, as long as you know what's what, the Jomashop watches are probably excellent deals.

well anytime youre buying from a grey market site like joma or watchmaxx, you wont get the manufacturer warrantee. The only way you're potentially getting the original warrantee is if you buy it used or from an authorized dealer .

There are quite a few resellers out there who can get BNIB w/ full Omega warranties...
