You asked for a watch with issues…

then said you wanted it keeping good time and not need a service.

good case…

matching and correct dial and hands…

what exactly are you ok with being wrong with it, as you just described a good watch.

This is not a comment about it being in poor condition but rather, this might be as good as it gets for you price wise.
Thanks for the heads up on this, I was running errands and didn’t have a chance to look closely at it. That watch checked all the boxes and some! Unfortunately I missed out on this one. Again thanks a ton for thinking to drop a message here, really appreciate it

Ticking through the stuff above:
- I’d like a watch that could go a couple years without a service. I’d prefer not to buy a watch and immediately send it away for (x) months and spend an additional chunk of money.
- not specifically looking for a “good case” just would prefer one that is not polished. Bumps and bruises are okay. I honestly don’t want a perfect watch because I won’t enjoy a perfect watch, something that’s lived a little is fine.
- period correct parts, I’d prefer not to have a watch from the 70s with a dial from the 90s for example.

Maybe just removing “Preferences/Must Haves” in my original post and just leaving the “preferences” would make more sense

Can I suggest that you just continue adding funds to your budget and in the meantime view other movies on Netflix that wont cause that uncomfortable horological itch (but don't watch the serial crime stuff for obvious reasons). Indeed I have watched many, if not all of these movies, with no time piece on my wrist at all and I never once felt the need for such a vicarious experience.

Buy the Bulova Lunar and then dream away. 😁

btw, good luck to you if a watch this way does come - but I suspect it's a dim possibility at best. 👍
