Good day, folks. I'm brand-new here, and brand new to the world of Omega; I just bought my very first one this past week, via Chrono24 from a dealer here in the States. I figured I might as well check with the experts on here to be damned sure that my Moonphase ref. no.
304.30.44.52.01.001 is the real mccoy, so here are some pics i just took with my phone, hopefully they're good enough to see. If it's not readily apparent, serial no. is 89973241. Can anyone confirm the authenticity of this one for me?

Watch is brand-new, not preowned, came with everything, box, papers, pictogram, warranty card, etc etc.

If you access my omega on the official Omega site you should be able to use the serial and the card to check if it give you the test results, pretty good to me as proof.

Thank you much YY77; just did exactly as you described and it came up just fine, says that it passed all the tests with flying colors.

Would you mind elaborating on this serial # search feature?----I'm looking at My Omega and not finding it, but I'm also profoundly inept when it comes to matters of digital literacy.

Ah, I think I see now---it's the thing for Master Chronometers (only).

Hello, I've found this watch in a drawer but I can't judge if it's fake or not (it's for sure an old watch).

Right now all the jewellery store are closed and I don't have the tools to open it.

I did a little research and it looks like a Seamaster OMEGA CK 2493, but I'm a newbie in this watch thing and I can't judge properly.

Hi folks. I went ahead and bought the CK 2998 I posted earlier. Here are some better photos...would love your advice on whether or not it looks legitimate. Came with box and papers etc. but thought I'd post here for your thoughts. Many thanks!

Hi! First time posting on here. I saw this Omega on a friends IG and I thought it was gorgeous. After doing some research online, I wasn’t able to locate an exact reference number for this watch. The closest model I was able to find is the Tokyo Olympics Omega. However, the watch in the picture does not have the same caseback on the Tokyo Olympics one. So, I decided to take it to reddit. Unfortunately, people on Reddit were not able to locate a reference number as they are experts, however, they all suspected that this watch is a fake.

Little background on my friend. He is well off financially, I’ve seen him buy multiple $10000+ watches in person in front of me, so I highly suspect he bought this knowing it was a fake. I don’t want to mention to this to him because I feel like it’s not my place to. However, I do love the watch and I want to see the reference number so I can get myself one as well.

Because of the subdial spacing, this is a fake 100% without a shadow of a doubt.

Hey everyone, new to Omega watches. I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on this 212.30.36.20.01.002 but after looking at the photos a couple of things give me pause; 1. the bezel markings don't appear to follow the same path (on some parts they are closer to the crystal than others), and 2. the gap between the endlink is massive (not what I would expect from an omega!)

Thank you for letting me know, I appreciate it. Do you know the reference number for the real one?

The closest one is the Tokyo Olympics 2020, ref. 522.30.42.30.04.001.
The next closest one is the Apollo 11 35th anniversary, ref. 3569.31.00, but a date is in red instead of Speedmaster.
Then there's the super rare Mitsukoshi model, but there's no red in there at all, ref. 3570.31.00

Can you care to elaborate? The pic looks slightly compressed from top to bottom but maybe that's just from looking on my phone.

I have the same model and yes there's a gap between the endlinks and case. I don't really see anything odd with the bezel... Is there a way for you to verify the watch with the serial on the cards?

It has nothing to do with image interpolation. No amount of image stretching can account for this. It is 100% fake as stated. The fake producers haven't been able to make one with the correct spacing of the subdials as of yet.

Ahh, side by side with the genuine it's SUPER clearly visible. Thanks!

Hi guys,

In transit is a used Seamaster PO 45mm. Seller sent some videos before and as it is a see through back the movement looks quite original as the serial number can be read easily both on the movement and on the watch case and match the cards.
But 2 things caught my attention. The box doesn't seem to be genuine. Can someone confirm if this is a normal original Omega box? On the ads I have looked I only found the red leather box or the sharp edges wooden box. My other thought is that this reference is for a leather strap PO but the one I bought has a steel bracelet. Is this also normal? Ref is 23232462101003. Does this reduce the resale value of the watch? I want to check with the specialists here since I can still cancel the purchase. Thanks for any advice.

That is definitely not a box belonging to the PO.

Thanks for the reply. What about the reference and the bracelet not matching? Is that normal? Is it something like the buyer negotiate ate the AD to change it sometimes? Saying that watch and bracelet are genuine even if not matching the reference, does this reduce the value of the watch? Thanks
