I realized after I replied that you were not being serious with your question. Yeah, that one is bad.

I really like this watch, but I'm no speedmaster expert. Should I bid on it or should I let it pass??

As a franken / modded standard moonwatch this has no collector value IMHO.

Well, it's definitely not a Planet Ocean! Looks totally fake and the seller has 0 feedback.

Local pawn shop with a moody GoodPlanet GMT . . .

    http://tucson.craigslist.org/jwd/5904255647.html

    I was dumb-struck . . . until I saw the case-back and movement.

    GoodPlanet_Caseback_fake.jpg

Incorrect caliber number, cheap movement, and no GoodPlanet Foundation markings.

Please help this seller find a new venue for his wares, and flag this trash off craigslist.

Word of caution 145.022 or is it?.....

Bought this watch from ebay with eyes partially closed ( my bad ).
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Omega-Speedmaster-Chronograph-ST-145022-69ST-Cal-861-Moon-watch-/391561844117?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&nma=true&si=cqkDJYBvZKWus7avEdtwQ4Yj8es%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=ncPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

check out this image from the listing ....
    Big_Mistake.jpg
the serial number shows 27773342. The cal 861 engraving is rough and without the Omega branding on the base plate. There is an engraving of 18 Jewels on the bridge. The blocking lever is nto metal but plastic. A check from an extract l ordered says it belongs to a cal 601 model ST131.019.

Now check out the latest listing from the same seller:-
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Omega-Speedmaster-Professional-Chronograph-Pre-Moon-Watch-145022-69ST/252661825785?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid=222007&algo=SIC.MBE&ao=2&asc=38530&meid=796240c3655c46048f0a1e8587415d05&pid=100005&rk=5&rkt=6&sd=322344624167Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

Look again at the image of the movement form this listing:-
    Will_Be_Big_Mistake_2.jpg
I think it shows serial 27773542. the same rough Cal 861 engraving, and 18 jewels on the bridge instead of 17. The blocking lever appears to be made of plastic also ( I could be wrong ).

If I am wrong in my observations, I do apologise. If you do agree, could the seller be producing these Franken-fake movements?

    Take note
