The Omega Speedmaster Reduced caught my interest because of its history with space travel.
What history? 🤪

I also noticed that the 12 o'clock indices are a little bit off center to the left. I drew a little red line to visualize it on the last picture. Is that perfectly acceptable and within spec for Omega?
Watch looks fine to me.

As for the hour marker, you can read this thread that’s similar to yours. There are more out there is you do a Google site: search specific to the forum, but this is the more recent.

Thanks for that 👍. I did a quick search on the issue and it looks to be relatively common. It doesn't bug me much and I got a good deal on the watch. It should still be under warranty so I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask Omega if they'd cover fixing it.

Anyone got expertise on the speedymoon ST 345.0809?

This one's up for auction and then more I look at it, the less I think I like it...

Subdials have no grooves (and also no "T" by swiss made at the bottom):

Triangle hallmark inside the caseback looks sloppy?

"Omega swiss" on the movement looks off, compared to the example in Moonwatch Only.

What's everyone else think?

I indeed bought this watch directly from seller as i had done deals before. Bought it out of eBay for much less. It does indeed have a service dial, but apart from that don't know if case, hands, crystal, pushers, crown, or caseback are original. My guess is caseback isn't. If you guys know any expert living in US that i could send the watch in so they can verify, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I lost 75% of my savings funds to an online trading scam. I felt so foolish I trusted the wrong investment company. The help arrived in the form of a professional legal team. A friend who has the same similar problem told me that I have a good case and a very high chance of getting my money back from the scammers, she told me to contact wiki support so I decided to try so i contacted them via email, wikihelpdesks@ gmail. com

Hi, new to this space.

Worried that my dad might have gotten duped, he bought a 3220.50.00 with no box or papers from a private seller on Chrono24 without really going into depth on the history on the watch, the seller said they bought it 2 years ago on the platform from an Ukrainian based in Germany, paid 2,5k€. Hoping for people with more expertise to say whether or not its legitimate.

Many thanks in advance

Hi, I recently bought my first Omega from Chrono.
The seller is an established and reputable jewelry shop in Europe, and their feedback was great (hence choosing to buy from them).
The watch looks fine to me, the engraving and other details are spotless, the serial number matches the one on the warranty card, and the warranty card details show testing results on Omega website.
The movement is not interfered with the magnet I use to find studs behind the plasterboard.
I checked and it beats at 25200 bph.
So, I don't see any red flags, but my experience with Omega is limited to trying them on in the shop couple of times and watching a dozen of Youtube reviews.
Does it look legit to you?

Fake, you would have been very lucky to get a LE no 1.

And the other one

This should be the 3581.50.00 but that has a sapphire caseback.

Wasn't sure about that. I know some watchmakers do 0001/xxxx on everything and some do individual numbering. Never seen the back of that one before. Thanks for the advice.

Any opinions on this? It popped up for sale locally. Looks legit - but I’ve never owned a PO before.

Looks fine to me (based on the video where I can't see any clearly focussed shots of the watch).

Fake because a real one would have a serial number. The clasp text on the back is also wrong, since I deal with Omega parts all the time.

Also look at the caseback quality. Pretty poor. Here is a picture of mine which is genuine. Notice the difference in the 007 text on the bottom.

That’s a good insight!
Also noticed the 007 gun symbol is slightly different
Thanks for the lifesaver sir

This must be the extremely rare 260 / 240 / 220 misprint bezel.📖
