Since it was a phone app, I didn't check but two positions. But I checked closely against the atomic clock in Colorado, and it's running +5 seconds/day.

Thanks, Fiberguy! Any opinions on the rather high beat error of 1.0-0.3 (taking into account it was measured with a phone app)?

Frankly, I know little about beat error, but I do think it would be unwise to trust a phone app to give an accurate beat error rate especially on a watch with a co-axial movement. I think you might be looking for problems where there really are none. If you are happy with the watch condition and the price you paid, I would wear it and enjoy. Its a mechanical watch its going to need service at some point, especially if it did not have a full service prior to you purchasing it.

Sounds prudent. I purchased it brand new, so I'm not that concerned about an imminent servicing (although I don't know how long it's been sitting on a shelf). Very happy with my first Omega; just concerned about authenticity. I'm probably inordinately concerned. MS-TR Japan has a solid reputation according to my research.

You can test all 6 positions with a phone app, and get a ballpark idea of which positions run what. If there's a slower position or one that loses time you can rest your watch in that position at night if the +5 accuracy bothers you.

I wouldn't trust or worry about the beat error as measured by your phone.

May I ask for your opinion on this 1957 trilogy Railmaster?

The price looks very attractive at 3900 CHF for “buy now” and auction starting price 3500 CHF (too good to be true?) The seller has 1 review on the platform and only as buyer.

Any alarm bells ringing? Or do you think this watch is all good?

This Railmaster does not come up on ebay, do you have a link ?
At 3900 it is way cheaper then average and with a no history seller, probably a scam.

Thanks ! If the watch is correct you have a super deal but dont bring cash !!
An immidiate bank transfer when you have checked the watch in person will work just fine, in a place with camera`s such as hotel lobby/jewelry shop.

Please could somebody help me ID this watch? Buying from a private reseller and awaiting confirmation of paperwork.
I’m told it’s 24mm with a pink dial , however, I can’t find any similar models on Google. Might be an older model?

I recently bought this Omega (reference 3513.33). The gentleman who sold it to me said he believes the movement to be fake because of the finishing and the blue screws, but the case is genuine.

I popped the case-back off and when I compare the markings with examples I see on chrono/eBay it looks consistent (175 0083 and 375 0083).

I need help determining if the movement is authentic and the case as well so I know whether or not to spend any money restoring this watch. Please see pics below:
