The 3861 Speedmaster shown in the pictures is real. However. The chrono seconds hand looks a bit dirty, which is odd.

Mine for example taken in indoor light

What are you trying to show in your red circle in the first photo?
Thanks for your reply man

in red he marked a zone with slightly scratches

what your concern about seconds hand? Sorry, I’m from Italy so maybe I don’t understand precisely what you mean

thanks a lot

It is a brand new watch, even if several years old, so it is odd the hand that I circled looks so dirty. The hand should look cleaner like mine. It could be a sign that moisture made it way into the watch or something else. The seconds hand would be a little off putting for me.

Ask if you can get any higher quality photos that show the dial and ALL the hands more clearly.

The description states that the dial has been completely redone. It definitely has a replacement aftermarket bezel.

The seller has over 4k feedback @100% and states there is an extract from the Omega archives. Another possibility is that it's not much in the way of original...

Curious about this one - it looks fake to me, but I'm no expert.

Kind of what I thought. I was a bit thrown by the extract ... wondering if it had somehow been faked as well.

Hi! I purchased Omega ConstellatioN on December 29 of 2004. Serial: 80841055. Is it normal because I found some data online that this serial is for 2006 production year?

Hello new members...

Welcome to the OmegaForums.net!!

I have specifically created this thread just for the newbies who come on here after they have been given a watch buy their uncle's uncle twice removed OR they have bought what you think is a legit Omega off good old flee bay!

The idea is you post your watch here and it is discussed by our panel of experts, who I might add, may say few choice words like 🤬 and 🤬 or maybe 🤬.

The will endeavour to be as blunt as possible, but getting you the answer you are looking for.

The main idea is this..

It will remove the countless new threads asking 'Is my watch fake?' or 'I was left this by my dad's dad's dad from 1860'

Any new threads will be merged in to this one as of now.

Thanks very much.

The OF Management & Moderation Department.

Fire away!!

Ok, here I go!
II recently purchased this Railmaster about a week or two ago through Amazon from a company called MS-TR JAPAN US. I researched this company thoroughly and spoke to the owner on several occasions before the watch arrived. firstly, I'd like to know if anyone has ever dealt with this company. secondly, my watch produced some rather disappointing numbers on the time grapher, in particular beat error of 1.0 - 0.3., and it's rate is +4 - +5 per day. Now, I did use Watch Accuracy Meter, but it calculated accurately the beat rate as well as what I have calculated in the +/- rate. As the title of this thread indicates: should I be concerned?

should I be concerned?
If you already have the watch in your possession, why don't you share photos of the actual watch?

I would just wear it and not worry, sounds fine. Also post pics as we don’t see many of these Railmasters around
