That watch sold on eBay about 4 years ago for $2499 "buy it now". The vender knew it was a good watch and he said in the listing that it was worth 10 times what he was asking.
I missed it by seconds!!!
I will see if I can find the original listing notes.... the pictures are gone.

It was sold on ebay 10 years ago. I was the undebidder

That's insane and incredible motivation to keep my eye out for more pieces.
