·The Lyon & Turnbull London Watch auction on 20th May has a really interesting collection of vintage Omega Speedmasters including a super-rare racing dial Speedmaster Professional 145.012-68SP, and several old and new models from a deceased collector's estate.
There's also some cool military issue watches including a low-spec Rolex Milsub estimated at £15-25k, IWC Mk X and IWC Mk XIs. Amongst the Rolexes are two WWI era silver cased trench watches, a nice full-set polar Explorer II 16570, and some modern gold and sports models. A rare stainless steel 1976 AP Royal Oak tops the sale.
The auction is on preview at L&T in Connaught Street from Thursday, 14th May, with the online sale taking place the following Wednesday, 20th May, at 2pm. I'm going to be behind the counter at the preview as their independent watch specialist: drop by and say hello!
Take a look at the catalogue:

And please keep off the Speedmaster patches and Omega books! ;-)
