·So I decided to keep my Omega Speedmaster 1836 "Sapphire Sandwich" since I just love looking at the high quality finished movement, but I wanted to make thing more visually interesting since now I have 2 other vintage Speedmasters that I would rather wear.
I was surfing on The Bay looking for dials that could fit this modern Speedy so it will look at least look different, white dials, Panda dials, etc. There was a seller selling a banged up Apollo 11 35th 1969 dial for $1800. I was considering a Mitsukoshi mod that was popular before.
Then I found a store selling a NOS Apollo Soyuz dial. Not the meteorite dial from 2010, but from the original 1970s ones. The store is a reputable store that's been in business for a while.
Should I, for fun? They want quite a bit for it...lol.
