Thank you for the input. Just to know what choices I have. Realistically in this condition, without having my watchmaker service it. How much could I expect to sell it for? ( I know you can't give a specific, but maybe a range).
$300-$1000 based on details we can't determine without better photos.

Please post some better pics. The only thing wrong with that watch imo is the missing marker at 6. A lot of the value is in the dial and no one can say for sure it鈥檚 a redial. Yes the case is a little soft but it鈥檚 not too bad.
Firstly, that watchmaker is charging a price that is over 3x the cost of any watchmaker I have used. I generally pay around 拢200 plus parts. I wouldn't even bother paying that if the watch has no intrinsic value and I'd sell it for parts. That's why pictures are a must before you make this decision - or a costly mistake.
If it has sentimental value I'd keep it and given the condition, look for a cheaper servicing option that included keeping the crown and polishing the crystal. If it has no sentimental value I'd just sell it on ebay and expect to get around 拢400+
Hi there, I understand that we are neighbors ( I live in Sweden), and there is a watchmaker that you could contact in Helsing枚r: https://urmager-kvarneberg.dk/
They could help you out with the service, and give you an estimate.
