Need help for identification

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping some Omega vintage experts here can help me identify this watch.

I've spent quite some time researching it and found several similar examples from the 1940s–1950s, but nothing that matches exactly.

A few details that might help:

  • Case: Rose/yellow gold tone, with a visible 18K hallmark on the caseback (although I can't confirm whether it was originally stamped).
  • Lugs: Very distinctive sculpted teardrop-shaped lugs, which seem to be the hardest feature to match.
  • Dial: Arabic numerals at every hour position except 6, which is occupied by the subsidiary seconds dial.
  • Small seconds: Unusually large, widely spaced markers rather than the fine railway-style track found on most similar examples.
  • Dial signature: "SWISS MADE" appears on either side of the small seconds subdial.
  • Crown: Signed Omega.

My best guess so far is a late 1940s or early 1950s model, possibly powered by a 30T2-family movement, but that's purely speculative.

Unfortunately, I haven't had the caseback opened yet, so I don't have the movement or case reference numbers.

Has anyone come across this exact combination of dial and lugs?

I'd particularly appreciate any help identifying the reference, approximate production year, movement, or even a photograph of an identical example.

I've attached several pictures showing the dial, lugs, case profile and caseback.

Thanks in advance for your help!

The hallmark is fake imo it should be inside the caseback. For the rest i will let people who may now this model say more.

The external hallmark is unusual, however, the best outcome will be that the watch has a national production case.

That's where the uncased movement was shipped from Switzerland to the country of origin where a local case manufacturer provided cases to the importer.

This was done to reduce import/customs cost and many countries have these examples such as USA, UK, Australia and many others.

I concur with the above. I am not seeing a fake here, more a national cased watch but I suspect it has been redialled though it's hard to be certain based on those pics. Note the crown logo and dial logo are rather different. Were all original they would match. The dial logo and text is later, like 1980s+ later.
