How to obtain original movement for the case

Hi,
My friend wants me to service his omega, but I am questioning if the movement is married including dial and does it go with the case number. The movement states 1012 which is 23j but the automatic section states 17j. See photos. Can someone help me to be pointed in the direction of finding out which movement belongs to this case 166.0202, I took off the rotor for better understanding of the problem. The case is also marked 20micron Omega between the lugs.

Seems to be an issue with the search function at Omega’a website, but Google to the rescue:

The cal. 1012 movement is correct for this watch, but the bridge may have been replaced with one from a cal. 1010, which was also used in this model (US versions).

Good morning all, I found this Seamaster in pristine conditions on eBay. Owner claims that it has been serviced by Omega for ≈ 600£, and as you can see from the pictures the dial, hands and case...

The bridge is believe was replaced, however the case back is snap on and not screw back which is what the link said. But it also stated that it could be either 1010 or 1012. I'm not sure which caliber this should be? Is there any significance between the two besides jewel count?

The other example I posted also has a snap back case. Could be an error in the database.

No. Cal. 1010 is 17 jewel version for US market to save on tariffs.
