I more a collector than a user. I only wear a vintage Omega but i have maybe 5 I wear on a regular basis, the rest is in a safe 😀
Those poor forlorn Rancheros locked up in the dark...
If you'd like them to have good company and fresh air don't hesitate to send them away for help 😀

Try buckling the strap closed. Short of that, spirit gum might work also.

Good advice, but a little bit too late, I don't have any modern watch now, but worked really well on my G Shock 😉

I always wear vintage watches and I usually rotate them on a weekly basis. The only time I wear a modern and waterproof watch is when I'm off sailing or at the beach.
My goal for 2017 is to get a new Seamaster 300 for these events. As I know people who work at Omega, I might get my first new Omega watch at an affordable price. 👍👍
Here's a pic from Omega's website https://www.omegawatches.com/de/wat...ter-300/master-co-axial-41-mm/23330412101001/

If only it's available on 38MM, would be very interested...
41MM is sadly too big for me

I usually wear two vintage watches on each wrist, Castro-style. Every once in a while I'm feeling saucy and strap a fifth one on my ankle.

I have two vintage watches. One is my grandfather's retirement watch, and the other is watch my father-in-law wore in Vietnam. I don't wear either very often. Both are nice watches, but I just don't put them on for some reason.

Everyday! Love seeing them on the wrist....It's part of your personality in my opinion...

I don't wear mine often enough. I find myself just grabbing a modern Seiko or some other generic watch and when I strap it on I forget about it. My vintage pieces (oldest is a 1957 Gold capped Seamaster) strike fear in me when I wear them. I guess I am afraid to damage or lose them so I need to get over that and just wear them and enjoy them. Lately I have been wearing the Bulova Moon watch.

I tried and failed (again and again!!) to own and wear modern watch

I have tried Tudor Blackbay Black, Black Bay 36, Seamaster 300 Ceramic, Seamaster 300 Ceramic 36, several PAMs

Those modern watches always end up with little to no wrist time...
so all my modern watches already sold
Somehow modern watches can't attach to me at all

If I need waterproof rugged watch,
I have always went back to my G Shock Classic DW5600BB,
or maybe I need a Seiko SKX013...

Back to the thread tittle: I wear vintage everyday 😁

For waterproof, buy yourself an older Seiko SKX-007 that has been banged around a bit. Will feel vintage but stay dry.

I wear vintage 1-2 days a week. I almost never wear vintage to work, because it's sometimes physical and could scratch it. Also my work is a walk through a neighborhood that sometimes gets muggings. Never me (knock on wood), they're usually later at night than I'm out and they're mostly looking for laptops and iphones, but I'm sure they wouldn't mind taking a gold watch if I made it obvious.

So my daily wear to work watch is a Swiss Army qu*rtz.

I have my Omega, many vintage Vostoks, Skx007 and a few other unimpressive things, but regretfully they don't get much wrist time right now as the wife and I both got Fitbit's for Christmas. I've tried wearing it on my right wrist, and my watch on my left, but it's just too uncomfortable. Soon enough though.

I use my mint 2998-2 at my beater watch. I wear my valuable watches much less frequently though

Well that’s a great position to be in! 😲 A 2998-2 would have immense amounts of care and wrist time if one ever fell into my lap! For now I’m slumming it with my 1966 SM300BT and my 145.012-67 👎 One day!

Good Lord! If that's your dirt digging watch, I would love to see what your boardroom watch is!

Roughly half of the time vintage and the other half modern. I have more modern watches than vintage, so proportionally the vintage ones get more wrist time.

I rotate my watches on a regular basis regardless of value. All though I don’t consider none of my watches valuable. Top in my collection approx 11k. Financially valuable that is. Priceless personally.
