Do you wear your watches in lockdown.

I’ve now been locked down for 4-5 weeks and haven’t worn a watch the whole time.
Do you wear yours around the house?

Nothing's changed in my watch wearing habits, I wear a watch every day. But we are not totally locked down like large swaths of the US, we can still go to the grocery store, Walmart, go out for take out food, hardware store, go to the park for a walk, etc. Yesterday I had to go down to the tire store to have a tire replaced, waited outside as they did that, but I had a watch on. My home study has seven operating clocks, and my computer monitor and DVR shows the time, but I still wear a watch. Part of the enjoyment of any watch is wearing it.

I don’t see the point of not wearing one, you should have bought the watch for your own enjoyment- not because there’s no one around to see it.

I've been doing cleaning, yard work, outdoor exercise so I've just been wearing my beater Timex.

Would be the perfect time to wear them, but I'm washing my hands like, once an hour, and I don't want to worry about the leather strap constantly getting wet.

Wearing three, today. My 50 year old Accutron 218 Railroader, my Tissot PR516 automatic circa 55 years old, and my Waltham Vanguard, 58 years old. Just got back from grocery shopping in my 42 year old car. I like old stuff.

I'm splitting time between the office and home, mostly office. When I'm at home, I change watches a couple of times a day...I know it's a sign of some sort.

I’ve started to wear watches again after figuring out a process for using paper towels to open the doors of my building when I go out for a walk - which lead to less need for hand washing and more comfort that I wouldn’t destroy a vintage watch. My new home office ergonomics are not great, and I keep bumping my watch on the dining table while using the laptop, so not much watch wearing during work hours 🤔

I actually find more time to rotate between my watches when in lockdown.

Yes...because I still need to know the time.

We have clocks in our house. So no need to wear a watch.

Don't wear while at home sitting in front of computer working. 50/50 whether or not I put one on when I go out, as sometimes it is just for a short ride to my office to see WTF is wrong with the server. If I am going to a meeting or project I will wear one, as I typically do not have an easy way to check time otherwise.

The days when I work from home are not the most enjoyable, and I find myself on opposite ends of the watch spectrum. I purchased a Speedmaster a month ago but have not been able to size the bracelet. It has been worn a few times, but around the house my go-to has been this yellow Vostok. I know...don't hate...but I find that it's harder for me to take things too seriously when wearing a yellow watch.
