Zero. The reason being I have only recently gotten into watch collection and I am still trying to determine whether I want to get one or not (probably I do, but I have some aspects that I love and some that I hate, hence I am on the fence for now).

Zero! Replaced it with a Seamaster Professional 2254.50 because I never used the cronograph but maybe once a year.

Not so sure that anyone gets a Speedmaster for its chronograph but for the looks to start off. Such a lovely classic watch, IMHO.
But the one you got instead is a nice watch too.

I have two, a Pro and a FOIS. Really want the coming Snoopy and maybe a birth year and that will be enough.

I sometimes wear my wife's Speedy but I have it on pink rubber straps now as the NATO was too pink and white NATO's don't suit me.

I own the same models... Not your wife's...

I bought my 1861 Moonwatch b/c it was a chrono (and b/c of the history.) I recently realized that all but one of my watches is a chrono (the odd man out is a Monaco.) I just enjoy their complications and functionality. The newest addition to my small collection is is a SM300 chrono; yes, it is bulky comparedf to the slim Speedy but I love it.

I've recently sold two non-chronos, they just didn't hold my interest any longer.

Just the one. Its value to me is far more sentimental than monetary so for that reason I鈥檇 never buy another. It鈥檇 feel like I was cheating on it. On the other hand, if I were gifted a FOIS, a 2018 CK2998 or a Snoopy...

Zero.

I鈥檝e never understood what all those sub-dials are for or what the black milled ring with numbers around the edge is for or what the two extra 'pushers' on either side of the crown are for.

Mind you, I never understood how to use a slide-rule at school, either.

I don't know if your writing with your tongue in your cheek. Probably more difficult to explain the slide-rule, a now obsolete device, than a chronograph.

Man you would hate my watch with a slide rule and the same 3 subdials and pushers then.

No, honestly. I鈥檓 a child of the forties. I only ever wanted watches with sweep second hands - so I could see that the watch was working and that time was passing - albeit slowly. In fact, in school I would have substituted 'slowly' for interminably!

I've never felt the need to know the exact time, never had to 'synchronise' watches nor be anywhere or do anything where a few seconds, more or less, mattered.

As far as I鈥檓 concerned, 'time' is a fairly general concept and I love my vintage watches for their looks rather than their accuracy - I can always re-set them if need be.

I've got two (for now). With a limited budget I've been happy to have the variety of old vs new, 861 vs 1861, tritium vs superluminova.
