How long have you been on the cal. 321 waiting list?

Got the call last week and picked up the watch today. It feels amazing on the wrist. Can't remember when I got on the list for it but I think it was about a 1.5 year wait.
Congrats! After getting mine last week (via Chrono24), i am satisfied that it is the Speedy of all Speedies for me. I have many others and will buy more in the future, but if there is the one to have, it is the Ed White.

So i got the call for a 321 - unexpected to be honest. Not sure what to do. I have the standard moonwatch pro (sapphire) and love it and wear on special occasions. Do I plunge for this or pass? If I bought I would forego my 1863 pro. Dilemmas - any advice on what to do?

If you're in Texas, I will drive to the boutique and buy it from you afterwards at a premium! Haha! They are so hard to find and so rare. I wish I could.get that call. Congratulations! (Clearly I think you should buy it)

Do it, why are you still here, go get it.

I got the call last year, and it gets more wrist time than any other watch I have. The fit is extremely comfortable, the finish feels well above its price point, the movement is stunning, the chronograph pushers have an amazing feel.

Only you know your financial situation and how deeply you feel about it. Most people on the list would be jumping in the Wagon Queen Family Truckster and heading to the OB to pick it up tout de suite. If you aren't feeling it, pass, and let the next lucky soul on the list have it.

Or buy the 321 and wear it for awhile and see if it becomes the 'go to' Speedmaster for you. If it doesn't do it for you you can sell it and recoup almost all of your cost. It's not a difficult watch to resell.

Sell whatever you need to sell and get it. Period.

Buy it, if you don't want to keep both sell the 1863.
The Ed White can be a one and done watch.

It has a manual adjustment feature in the bracelet. there are 2 holes at the end of the clasp that allow a small adjustment, with a tool.
See attached picture.

i usually leave it on the outer hole, as i like to wear it loose, but not loose enough to add another link.

This better not be the thing that convinces you to not buy this watch. You have ppl that've been waiting for years and would jump at the chance to get this watch.

I would like to add, there are a lot of links in the bracelet, so finding the perfect fit, is fairly easy, even without a quick adjust. I find it to the most comfortable watch i own, which is likely why i wear it as much as i do

I am on the waitinglist for a snoopy since dez. 2020...
I don't even wanted one really.. I was curious how hard to get one in the fist place. I have NO buying history with the Omega Store and my guess was, it's not really a waiting list.... If you buy stuff, you climb up, if not, you wait for ever. I asked back before Christmas and they told me I am still on that "list" but that they only get them very rarely.
Shure...

In my opinion, this watches are only for long-term customers... Without any relationship pretty much no chance.
I don't care to be honest

It doesn't because that wouldn't fit in with the mission of the watch. Some things were considered 'musts' by Omega, like a sapphire crystal and sapphire back, and a ceramic bezel. But an adjustable clasp just wasn't needed or desired by most owners. As others have stated, it's a very easy to adjust watch to get a nice fit.

Ok. I knew the new pro first didn’t and then it was updated. Thought that may be the case for the 321.

obviously not!

Yikes. What a dilemma. Perhaps a lot of people are passing on this watch hence why I got the call. This does make me nervous a little…

I wouldnt over think things. If you like it, and can afford it. It is an amazing watch. I absolutely love mine, and prefer it to my other Speedys. Its extremely comfortable to wear, looks amazing, the movement is stunning and the pushers have a wonderful feel.

Why would you think people are passing on them?

These watches are unobtainium - no idea who is passing on them but there is a helluva wait to get one. I had to go grey. I had a similar concern about the clasp but it is super comfortable. I haven’t had the need to adjust it at all whereas I use the adjustment on my 3861 somewhat regularly. Not sure why it is different.

They are absolutely hard to get. I put my name down April 2021, i didnt get the call from my OB until January 2023.
I didnt even think about the clasp, and honestly its never been an issue. I have never had to adjust mine, its perfect on the wrist, my 3861, im also constantly adjusting

It's pretty obvious that you are uncomfortable shelling out that kind of money for a Speedmaster, there is no crime in that. You'll have to decide for yourself if you want to go ahead with the purchase. When I got mine two years ago I paid a reasonable premium from a European seller here on OF who shipped it to me in the US because they just weren't easily available. Was happy to get the watch and it's a fine watch to have in the rotation. Think hard before you let the piece go.
