I'm hitting the 20 year mark. I bought my first Speedmaster from my local AD that was getting rid of the Omega line they carried. My first in 1994 was a 3590.50, now long gone once I was bitten by the vintage bug, for $1575 financed over a year with $800 cash down through American General Finance.

I was looking back through some old Photobucket pictures and ran across what I think was my earliest Speedmaster wrist shot.

    Then...

Bought my first around 1995, one of my first ebay purchases. (Back then you could find 321s for <$1000.). Then got into sports rolex, getting back to speedies now.

A ~1990 speedy auto from Geneva on a 1450 bracelet, 25 years on the wrist in a few months. Lume was dead 20 yrs ago, don't care. Regularly serviced every few years or so. Expect it to keep going for awhile yet...might put it on leather as I just picked up the new SS Seamaster 300 Master coaxial, don't need two bracelet pieces. I really like automatics if it isn't obvious already!

I bought this beauty back in 2002, still looking sexy 12 years later. This was my first introduction into the higher tier of watches. The love affair is stronger than ever!

    Collection so far:
    DSOTM
    Rolex GMT II
    Panerai PAM 90
    Breitling Chronomat EVO
    Cartier Tank Francaise

I bought my first Omega Speedmaster Reduces (3750032) when i was 19 years old from my savings in 1993, for only 680 euro (NEW!!!) at an AD.
    I still love the watch!

Since I got is at the end of July less the several months it took for restoration. Makes me a total nubie to the Seamaster world. The watch is 45 y/o however.

    ^^^^ Looks superb!

I've only had my Speedy Pro about a month but I bought it as a 'life piece'. Something that'll stay with me for years and eventually get handed down.

That's not to say I won't acquire other watches down the line as and when they take my fancy...

Thanks for the kind comment. Funny I bought mine as an addition to my one Omega/six Rolex collection and now it seems stuck on my wrist. It is headed out for reluming this coming week however. So it'll be gone for another few weeks.
