On C24 there are about 32 New 321s for sale, starting at around US$18k, that's not a terrible premium on the official price of $15.4k.
Premium is even less in EU it seems, there is a C24 listing BNIB € 17.4k plus € 220 shipping (there is be wiggle room on price) with current RRP being € 17.1k.

You might still have hope. I don’t see them discontinuing the 321. Plus they are more of a niche watch compared to something like a Snoopy. I waited about 6 months for my 321 and around 9 months for my Snoopy, both from my OB.
Was hanging out talking to my OB SA this past Saturday for a couple hours and he said the 321 list isn’t nearly as bad as the Snoopy list. He still gets a handful of people coming in weekly asking for Snoopy. He actually had a couple people turn down the 321. Honestly, I like my Snoopy better. It is a show stopper if you see it in person. The dial is a silver white, stunning and the blue is a rich color.

Then my honored Sir your Honor appears to be not interested how a mechanical watch works or are not interested in the caliber 321 movement and what it’s development had for a impact on sport chronographs eg it went to the moon! now I have been a 321 fan since I was 8 and saw the first speedy adds on NG mags. But have been dreaming about a new 321 until 2020 when Omega fulfilled my dream and remade a 321 caliber but better I would recommend if your. It able to decide what to waste your hard earned cash (or not) that instead you do something for society as whole and actually donate the 12k or 15k usd for a snoopy or 321 and donate the cash to my favorite friends charity www.AtlanticPacific.org
Thanks for being generous and not being a a greedy selfish 1st world problem complainer, I am 100% you are not
But I keep reading about whining watch enthusiasts who want their speedy today and not willing to wait just because they saw it on insta and want to impress with the latest & greatest to show off their display of conspicuous consumption when 1/3 of the word pop is struggling to feed themselves

FYI: with 14 grand US I can feed a family of 6 for 2 years up in PNG

There is never a right answer to these sorts of questions. I've owned the New EW321 since March 2022, it would be the last of my 12 Speedmasters I would sell. Bought it grey from a European dealer here on OF. I had a LE CK2998 with blue ceramic bezel and blue panda dial that had a similar vibe as the Snoopy but I never bonded with the blue theme and it went bye bye. That's mainly why I have no interest in the 50th Snoopy, and the trick back is just a bit too clever for me. No right or wrong.

On C24 there are about 32 New 321s for sale, starting at around US$18k, that's not a terrible premium on the official price of $15.4k. And some of those have wiggle room price wise. I see no point waiting for years on an OB waiting list when they are available elsewhere, but some people won't pay a dime over MSRP. Odd to me. And the longer you wait the higher the retail price goes, too. Buy it now, enjoy it now is my modus operandi.
I have followed many of those for sale on Chrono24 and they all seem sketchy. Many of them don’t actually have a 321 but say they can “get one soon” if you pay. Others say they are jewelers but have no actual store front. I have yet to find one in the USA where I could actually go and see the 321 in person before buying. I’m in a similar boat as others where o have no local OB and my AD, who does sell a very high volume of Omegas, has yet to see a 321 either. They have gotten several Snoopies but never a 321. Seems like those OB-only for the foreseeable future. I went to the Chicago OB and they wouldn’t add me to their list - said Omega told them to stop taking names indefinitely as they have no hope any time soon of meeting the backlog of demand.

I see 13 for sale in the US that are listed as 'in stock', they don't look sketchy to me. If you are needing to actually see, feel and touch the watch before buying you are probably not going to get one, C24 is not set up to facilitate F2F transactions. You'll have to buy online and be comfortable with the seller, but that's done everyday with watches. You aren't going to find one at a bricks and mortar reseller, you'll have to do it online.

I would turbo buy a Snoopy if I was ever offered the chance. Love the automaton on the back and whole history of the Snoopy awards. (my favorite is actually the 45th Snoopy with the 14 seconds marked on the dial. I find that inspirational).

But for me, the really appealing thing about the 321 is the clear view of the cal 321 (Lemania 2310) movement. I absolutely love a manual wind column wheel chronograph and the finishing of the new 321 is on par with anything I've seen from Breguet/Lange/Patek. It's just stunning, and it has the moonwatch history on top of it all. Easily my top pick for a watch, but harder to find than hen's teeth. I honestly don't mind paying the prices I see on C24, but I'm very worried about what happens if the watch delivered isn't the same as advertised or if some other problem arises in the transaction. Strongly prefer to buy from an OB/AD or at least a place I can inspect the watch first.

The 321 movement is gorgeous. I’ve bought off Chrono24. The transactions have gone well. Just avoid private sellers on Chrono24 as there is no recourse through Chrono24 if the sale goes south.

Main thing holding me back from buying on C24 is my OB said I have a really good chance of getting one eventually so I'd hate paying a premium for it and then a short time later get the call. Yes I like the watch and all but it's not something I have to get.

If my OB actually told me realistically my chances were 0 then I'd probably get one off of C24 eventually.

I had been on the list for a 321 for more than a year and have a sales history with the OB in London. A month ago I got the call for a snoopy. Since I wanted a 321, I passed on it. Only 2 weeks later I got the call for a 321 which I bought. I was told that this had been the first 321 this boutique had received in 2023.

Well, I decided to try my luck on Chrono24 and bought an EW321. Received it today. Having my AD inspect it tomorrow for authenticity- looks very legit. Nothing shady about the price (not “too good to be true”). Only thing odd was that the timepiece came inside a cardb

I took the feedback here and decided to buy a new/unworn 321 off Chrono 24. Getting it inspected tomorrow by my AD. Looks totally legit but the only odd thing was that it was in an Omega cardboard box inside of the standard Moonwatch box (see pic). I have bought A LOT of Omegas and never seen this before. Anyone else experience this or think it is odd?

It is not odd. Omega switched their packaging from plastic to paper-based. This applies to all of their watches including the diamond-studded precious metal pieces. Looks completely legit to me. This is the best and hardest to get stainless steel Omega that's currently in production. Congratulations!!!

Thank you! That is reassuring. I’m guessing my AD just removed those boxes before presenting others to me in the past. I feel pretty certain this is legit but will be comforted having inspected by my AD. The same day I pulled the trigger on this, my AD called and said he finally got a Snoopy for me, so I nabbed my two grail pieces in the same week! Very excited - the life of an Omega nerd.

Congrats on both watches!

And yes, that packaging is commonly known as the "coffin"
Omega and other companies ship their watches in these and the fancy display boxes are shipped separately. The AD is the one who puts the two together (and usually discards the coffin) to present to a client.

Here is the old plastic coffin way of shipping. Everything pertaining to the watch (hang tag and red cards) was with the coffin. Then the dealer married the watch, hang tag and cards with the appropriate box to give to the customer. The coffin was not usually given to the customer unless asked, and often the hang tag was retained by the dealer as well.

@gdhoosier, Your watch is legit, you can visit the AD to confirm to soothe your mind but there is absolutely nothing to suggest anything is amiss with the purchase. Just make sure the card's serial numbers match the watch's numbers. I bought a new car once and they sent me home with the serial numbers on the paperwork/title application that didn't match the actual VIN on the car. Big problem. Not likely to happen with your watch, but always worth checking to make sure everything matches. Congrats on getting both watches at the same time.

Grats. I got the cardboard coffin with all the tags, stickers, etc for my Snoopy from my OB as well. The watches come in the cardboard coffin and the presentation box comes separately. I’m still waiting for my Snoopy presentation box as it got delayed.

Long time lurker (before registering an account) and first time poster! Just wanted to contribute to this thread - I registered my interest end of Dec 2021, surprisingly got the call (actually, a whatsapp message) on 23 Nov (2023). For what its worth, I am based in Hong Kong, with only one prior purchase history (NTTD) and purchased another bracelet.

Although earlier on I did chat on whatsapp with the sales associate about omega watches, I didn't actively correspond frequently on the same.

I wish I got a free strap and deployment like Seamaster1977 above, but I don't think HK boutiques do that often (at least for non-vip customers like me).

This thread actually made me think about the 321 some more so I tossed my name on the list for a platinum 321 earlier this week. Not ready to buy one but I figure why not, I'll probably be ready for one if it really takes a whole damn year or more lol.

I was very lucky to be registered on their list by the Omega boutique near me in January 2020 and got the call in December 2020…
But I reckon it seems unusual for a non-VIP client (only had a vintage watch restored by them beforehand, no prior purchase…)

Got less lucky with the snoopy… ah ah ah

Got the call last week and picked up the watch today. It feels amazing on the wrist. Can't remember when I got on the list for it but I think it was about a 1.5 year wait.

Glad to hear they're shipping units! Still dreaming about picking this up myself. Fingers crossed for 2024!
