How accurate is your Omega?

This one is - 7 seconds in 5 days. Not a chronometer, not co-axial, ETA 2892 based Speedmaster reduced, 30 years old. I don’t think I am going to try to improve on that. It beats all of my other Omegas, except for my quartz Seamaster from circa 1970.

Mine are more accurate than my toaster, less accurate than my microwave. So, right in that sweet spot.

Very accurate. 😕
Big hand on the 12....... little hand on the 6..... that's definitely 6 o'clock! 😕

After owning my 2018 Diver for 8 months I’ve been able to settle on an overnight resting regulation method for my 8800 movement:

- crown down: loses about 1-and-a-bit second a night;
- face down (on something soft): less than a second gained.

During normal wear during the day I gain about 1-2 seconds so I use the method above to reduce then maintain time if I go a day without wearing it.

Super pleased with the accuracy.

Insane... I'm beginning to think the automatic is for show and they put a quartz inside.

No, that’s Grand Seiko 😀

I have had my watch for about a month. It still shows the exact same time as my phone. The test of my watch on Omega web site is 4 seconds day. But it may be even more accurate. Love my new Seamaster.

My SM300 Master co-axial with 8400 movement was gaining 4-5 sec everyday. So I sent it to Omega Service center and they are fixing its issue under warranty and is expected to be completed within 6 weeks.

I tend to wear my watch at night as I find it useful to tell the time if I am point away from the bedside clock, but do we know, for example, if the watch is laid on its back, it loses (or gains) or if laid crown down, it gains (or loses)
Is there a general pattern?

Nope it differs with every movement (even the same model)

At the very beginning of my watch life, I used to care so much and be even a little dramatic about its deviations that it would show every single day.
However, now I don't give a significant care about it anymore as long as it's within a range of chronometer standards.

My planet ocean barely hangs on to it with 5 seconds gain everyday when globemaster's doing a flawless job with about 0.5 gain.

I've had pretty good luck with my Omega watches and good time keeping

My Grey Side of the Moon most recently ran +0.5 sec/day over a 10 day period last month
My Ti Planet Ocean 9300 runs between +1 to +4 sec/day (avg +3.3 for the past year)
My Ti Planet Ocean 8500 runs consistently about + 2.5 sec/day
My Planet Ocean LMLE runs anywhere between -1 to +2 sec/day
My Planet Ocean 2201.51 ran + 1.5 sec/day for over a year before I sold it
My Speedmaster Pro Speedy Tuesday ran +2.7 sec/day over a 2.5 week period when I first got it (safe queen now)
My Speedmaster Pro 3570 runs about +5 sec/day on average
My Speedmaster pro 3572 runs about +3.8 sec/day on average
My Speedmaster 145.022 from 1976 runs between +0 to +2.5 sec/day consistently (avg +0.8/day)
My Speedmaster X-33 runs + 3 sec/YEAR (quartz)
My Seamaster Pro ceramic chronograph has averaged + 1.5 sec/day since I got it in 2015
My Seamaster Pro ceramic ran -0.1 sec/day over 60 days when I sold it, and averaged +0.9/day over the 3yr I had it
My Seamaster 300 WatchCo runs between -1 to +3.8 sec/day, depending on what I'm doing (avg of +2 sec/day)
My Ti Seamaster Pro 300 blue wave chronograph ran +2.7 sec/day over a 4 week period the last time I checked it

My SMPc is also gaining around 4-5 secs. a day. So under warranty (which mine has), I can have it regulated by Omega for better accuracy?

Since +4-5 secs. is technically under COSC specs, I was not sure if it would be regulated under warranty.

It’s in tolerance, so not a warranty problem...

My new Seamaster with the caliber 8806 runs with +0,7 sec/day measured over 3 weeks. I’m super happy with the Master Chronometer 😁

My 2018 Speedmaster professional gains 8-10 sec per day, sometimes more, rarely less. I'm not happy about that, should that be corrected?
