I have been wearing my SMP Diver (8800) for 12 days straight now (take it off only during bed time and rest it in a dial up position) and it has gained only 4.1 seconds during the whole time (Average +0.3 second per day)

Never used an app to measure the accuracy of my older watches so i don't know if this is good or extraordinarily good!

Anyone else have a METAS (or not) movement to compare their accuracy ?

Mine range between -5 and +8 with most being +1 to +3

They are generally more accurate than other brands I have.

My only concern is a co-axial chronograph 3201 I have which runs at -5

What I have to keep telling myself is -5 is still very accurate and is only 1 sec per day different from another similar movement the 3203 that is +4.

My green sub, one of my fav watches is +5 or +6 but because my 3201 omega movement is loosing time I have an issue with it.

That’s in my own head. Generally all are super accurate

My 8800 PO is gaining approx 2.5 - 3 secs per day. So I think you're more than good! :)

My Omegas are either manual or bumpers. Obviously the manual winds run down when I don't wear them and I don't put the bumpers on a winder.

That said, my 1967 Rolex Sub lives on a watch winder beside my bed when I'm not wearing it. It's probably been running constantly for the last eight or nine months. There's also a clock/radio next to my bed. One of those that are self correcting and self setting with some sort of radio signal. The two have never differed by more than three seconds. fifty two years old. Serviced by STS around 3 years ago.

I guess we can rule out f300 Omegas? My most accurate mechanical Omega is my Speedmaster reduced. I can!t tell you in seconds per day because I am not that particular with non-chronometer mechanicals. I rarely wear it for more than two weeks continually, but I would estimate maybe a 10 to15 second per week loss. I set it when I put it on, and never have to adjust it during the time I wear it.

My seamaster is very accurate. Despite its METAS results, my real world experience is more accurate. I also do some regulation at night so after 3 months of wearing I'm at +1.2 secs from NTP time so my average is +0 sec/day. We'll just have to see how long the movement can maintain this....
So far I try not to wear my watch when doing manual labor or activities like running or biking.

0.3 per day is phenomenal. I have an older Planet Ocean 2500 that somehow is accurate to 1.0 per day, but I just chalk that up to chance!

My first Omega (a 2351.80 Seamaster) which I bought in 2014 pre-owned ran at +6 seconds a day. The watch had not been serviced since the original owner bought it new in 2005. After I got it serviced it ran at +2 seconds a day.

My Speedmaster 1861 which I bought brand new in 2016 ran at +16 seconds a day. After I regulated it myself once the warranty expired, it ran at +2 seconds a day and still does.

My Speedmaster Pro cal 1861 (.005 model) runs +15 sec/day or smth, it definitely gained a minute with a couple of days. Perhaps needs regulating. It's 1 year old. My 1962 Constellation cal 561 runs at +5 sec/day or so. It was serviced in 2018. My cal 320 chronograph 1965 runs +10 sec/day when on the table, but in a vertical position, it runs +25 sec/day. I guess it's fine. Was serviced in 2016.

+10 seconds a day for my Speedmaster (1863) and less than a second a day for my 8900 PO an average. The PO hardly varies at all but the Speedy can be worse by another 3 or 4 seconds per day depending on position.
The Speedmaster is right on the limit I guess in terms of spec, I left it with my local OB to regulate it a while ago but when it came back they said it was fine

I set my Speedmaster Professional to a time source six months ago.

I have not worn it or touched it.

It is now one second slow.

My 145.022-76 Speedy Pro 861 runs at -1.2 spd. Pretty darn impressive for a 43 year old manual wind, but I have taken good care of it over the years and had it regularly serviced.

I've had my Seamaster 300M for 18 months now and have been astounded at its accuracy from a mechanical movement, about .3 sec a week gain (job to tell!) sort of thing I would have expected from a quartz movement!

I have a 2017 SMPc with similar accuracy. The 2500d is an excellent movement and the 8800 in the new model is even more impressive.
