Holy thread resurrection!
Finally dropped my Omega off to John Senior at you guys' recommendation.
He opened up the case so I could get a pic- appears to have never been serviced since it was made in 1964!
Not surprising then that its running fast...
Will update when its back in a couple of weeks. I did ask him to give it a light polish- sacrilege to some Im sure, but I wanted it freshening up. The dial will be left alone, as will the original crown.
So excited to get it back, in the meantime if anyone has recommendations on where to get a strap with an Omega clasp/ buckle they would be more than welcome (16mm lug width).
