Hi .. I've just found this site .. I just picked up this from a local charity shop.

I'd like some help identifying the model, age, history and resale value if possible.

I picked it up for a £5.00

The inner case has lots of numbers and 2 signatures.

Any information would be much appreciated although it fits me perfectly.

Google: omega 166 0206
Check ebay sold listings for price. It's a nice watch that needs some TLC

That is a great find at pretty much for free. A full service and a new crystal would be a big improvement.

A £5 hahaha that's a mega steal
What's the other serial number ??
The one on the back cover is what they call a case number. You'll find a 3 number on the movement which Is a cal/ movement number and the one on a little round sticker ?? Is a movement serial number which every watch is different Google the number on the back cover and youlll find the same / very similar. As of picking it up for £5 is a massive steal. If it's in working condition you could easily get £200

Thank you for the help. It's not working atm but I will look into it. Everything seem very clean inside.

I'm getting conflicting ages though.

Some places say mid 60s others 1900s or 1908 could someone clarify please

Found it
Google or eBay 166.0206 1010 and you'll see what it's roughly worth / go to sold items on eBay and see why they've received sold for.

Your 41****** discloses that the movement was manufactured in 1978. It’ll look great with the watch serviced, the crystal replaced and the bracelet cleaned, ideally in an ultrasonic cleaner.
Ensure that your watchmaker doesn’t polish the case
