Help: How to open battery hatch on Seiko 4883

Just a couple quick notes... the image(s) are from the OP & a different website. Not my images. Made a few red 'marks' to illustrate...
These Seiko battery hatches are not screwed down. They don't open when Over Turned. They have a very specific spot where CLOSED and a very specific spot where they OPEN. Rotating beyond these positions - is not helpful. The battery hatch has some very light arrows on it.... See the modified photos. Where he/she eventually got it off using hot glue - it was over rotated. It very well might have been stuck - but it is not helpful to over rotate the hatch.
