The seller is Dieter and is very straight. He deals in significant volume but watches are usually "as found". I truly wish I knew where he gets a lot of his stock from, as I'd likely race to be in there before him.
Over the last few years he's been getting deeper into this game and has some decent watchmakers he works with.
I strongly suggest you message him directly (this is a reddit sale, yes?) And talk to him about the watch. Ask him a straight question, he'll give you a straight answer.
I have bought at least three watches from him. All were serviced by my watchmaker; none had significant issues; all were rare; all were keepers.
