You got it. Of all the people to have the best chance, it's the guy who busts on the brand the most. 😜

Oh I do actually like Panerai, its just that I like them a certain way, under 45mm, under-complicated, manual-wind, and under $3.5k. Once you start going limited editions like the Beverly Hills or the toilet-seat limited edition or the New Jersey Turnpike EZ-Pass commemorative edition and there are 4 zeroes I start banging my head on the table.

A PAM104 for a really good price would actually be pretty cool!

Gotcha. SImilar to how I'm an AP fan but can't stand the unlimited amount of ROO limited editions. 😁

I don't really like the ROO in general, something about the sunken date window and the piggyback chronograph module doesn't sit right with me. The ROC is my pick for an AP chronograph, although its not in-house the F.Piguet 1185 is beyond reproach and gets my vote.

That said, an 15300ST would be my preference due to the displayback, and that incredible 21kt rotor on the beautifully finished Cal 3120 movement, and the simplicity of the dial.

Key point being both the RO and ROC AFAIK are not littered with limited editions, only the ROO with its more bling-compliant 45mm size.
