·Great World Cup so far (although I’ve watched the last 4 days in Benidorm so my focus wasn’t particularly sharp).
The hydration breaks are ridiculous and simply a cash grab for extra as space. It certainly does seem to be giving an edge looking at the number of goals scored shortly after one.
The average goals per game is also significantly higher than previous tournaments but that could also be due to an increase in the number of teams (hence more lower ranked teams who can’t complete at the same level).
