Why a beef with the New-Z and UK ?

You all have a thing for birds with the magpie, kiwi and kookaburra, are deep into fashion with the kākahu, punk, kilt and the Mullet covered tank-top, have a big saga with Robin Hood, The Ring and Mad Max and you share a funny kind of Scous. Plus you are all islanders !

You should be brothers 🙂 !

Why a beef with the New-Z and UK ?

Ever lived in a house with three brothers?
They all bag each other, try to out do one another, always try to best each other.
But when one gets flack from outside the family, they're there for backup.

Aussies, Brits (Pommies) and Kiwis share a long history of coming to the aid of one or another, mainly Aussies and Kiwis helping out the Poms.

So, with the Poms and Kiwis, we give em heaps, but it's all brotherly camaraderie, and at the end of the game, it shared beers all round.

A few years ago I was watching the Ashes at Headingley. Having a cheeky tab under the stand when a young lad ran right between me and my brother. A second behind him was Merv Hughes, thundering along.
Turns out the young lad had pinched his cap. Merv caught up with the now terrified kid, pinned him over a bin and retrieved said cap.

I don’t think they had a beer afterwards.

Probably an exceptional case though!!
