Fairly early in Speedmaster history, Hardy Krüger wore one in "Hatari" from 1962.

Watched this movie last night and spotted the Speedy right away....movie was pretty good. I’ve always thought he was a good actor since “Lost”....didn’t know he was a watch guy so now he’s my favorite actor!😎
Huge watch guy, he even went onto Hodinkee to discuss his collection, particularly his Bruce Lee Sportstimer from the 1970's.

I watched it last night as well.

First Man (2018)

As seen in First Man, worn by all members of the Apollo 11 crew – Gosling as Armstrong, Corey Stoll as Buzz Aldrin, and Lukas Haas as Michael Collins – during the mission. Aeschlimann says some pieces came from the Omega archives, while watchmakers in Bienne also produced 10 period-correct Speedmasters of each model for use as needed.

It appears that Ryan Gosling as Armstrong wears a vintage gold Seamaster as a civilian in scenes with his family.

My favourite has to be The American
Though I also enjoy watching the bond movies, especially those in the recent years to chuckle at the blatant product placements, not just for omega.

Dennis Quaid as Fireman Frank Sullivan in the movie FREQUENCY.
Not the best movie, but my favorite, hands down, featuring a Speedmaster.

As a ham radio operator, I loved the movie even though they got some of the ham lingo wrong. But I understand your opinion. Never noticed the Speedmaster, but I'll view the movie again tonight.

I am pretty sure to have spotted a Moonwatch on black strap in Modern Family no Ed O'Neil's wrist (BTW he rotates the watches in different episodes quite frequently - white daytona, Bell & Ross, Speedy & some others).

Tie for me: Apollo 13 and The American. Another entertaining film in which the Speedmaster appears is State of Play; Russell Crowe’s character wears it well.

Actually no. There was no breeez as the Moon has no atmosphere. The flag was fixed to a pole and suspended from the horizontal bar to prevent it hanging limp. The action of jamming and twisting the flagpole in the surface of the Moon caused it to flutter, and the lack of any atmosphere and hence air resistance meant the flag kept moving. Only its own weight and inertia would eventually stop it moving after a while.

The other factor conspiracy theorists should consider is just how many people would have to have had knowledge of any faked-landing conspiracy. In almost 50 years none have ever come forward, there have been no death-bed confessions, or leaking of secrets to the then USSR - who would certainly have been yelling from the rooftops if the US landings were faked.
And Buzz punched a reporter for daring to insinuate it was fake. Seems an honest reaction to me. I would be pissed after risking my life to get there to be accused of faking it.
