David Niven wore a Seamster on leather strap in the Sea Wolves, and he was Bond in a forgettable movie called Casino Royale. George Lazenby was the one Aussie to be offered the part and only didn't one film OHMSS. It's now getting the praise it deserves.

Fairly early in Speedmaster history, Hardy Krüger wore one in "Hatari" from 1962.
