·Not intending to derail the thread, but any chance that Bond will ever wear a Speedmaster instead of a Seamaster in an upcoming film? From a “Q” perspective, there are more buttons to push so that opens up the possibilities for a watch with more spy tools, explosives and weapons. 😀

·Pretty sure George Clooney is wearing a Speedmaster in his latest movie streaming on Netflix:
The Midnight Sky.
there was only a brief glimpse of the pushers and bezel sticking out from under a cuff, but I’m pretty sure that’s what it was. Not surprising since Clooney is an ambassador. And it would be keeping in line with the character in the movie.
it’s a good movie. A little depressing considering the topic and ending, but well done.

Aeschlimann says some pieces came from the Omega archives, while watchmakers in Bienne also produced 10 period-correct Speedmasters of each model for use as needed.

·Watched this movie last night and spotted the Speedy right away....movie was pretty good. I’ve always thought he was a good actor since “Lost”....didn’t know he was a watch guy so now he’s my favorite actor!😎
