·Hey nothing against the OP, but for individuals who are going to be like this shouldn't buy from grey market dealers. Go pay full retail to receive the peace of mind. My biggest pet peeve to receive from people interested in a watch is, how do you know its real? cmon guys.

·OP, take a loupe and see if there is the Omega symbol in the center of the crystal. No fake watch would go to this effort.

·Update for those who care, I went to Omega Boutique today and their expert inspected it (surpisingly for free) said it's authentic. Thanks for your help everyone, especially those who were nice to the noob

·there are lot of newbies that want to get a watch at a good price (no problem with that), so they go online and buy it, and then fret that they got screwed into buying a fake watch. Bottom line, if you are brand new at this it might be a good idea to buy at retail so you know you are getting an authentic watch and you can sleep well at night.
This made me think to back in the day, when 5th Avenue was always crowded with street vendors selling ‘knock off’ watches out of attaché cases on card tables. People lined up to buy that shit. Of course, most of those buyers knew? Most of those fakes were easy to spot because they looked cheap on examination.
(I grew up in NYC. There were summers in the 70’s where there were dozens of these guys, spread from 14th Street up to 57th Street. Never saw a cop bother any of them. In the rare instance some civilian got feisty with one of these street salesmen, a couple of strong-arm types would appear out of nowhere to ‘deal’ with the problem. Poor tourists.)
The thirst for a bargain can make fools of all of us. Just a question of the right ‘set up’. Yeah, I do my homework, but still...
Just saying.

There are fake Omega-marked crystals, unfortunately. The fake Constellations often have them.

You would think so but not true actually, many fakes have the logos. The biggest tells with the speedy pro are subdial spacing. The subdial spacing with the seagull movements is different.
