It looks fine but what is curious is that the box and cards are maybe 10+ years younger than the watch. It may have sat around in a dealers for a long while before being sold. What date is on the cards?

You don't want a true chronograph, this is a stacked module.
You should look at the Triple Dates since you're asking for opinions.

What do you mean stacked module? Also what triple dates? I’m interested in learning. Thanks!

Search on here for Speedy Reduced to learn more about their peculiarities. This one is the best of the Reduced breed but they still have some issues.

They stopped making these in 2010 or so. Those cards and box are newer than that so it presumably received brand new cards when it was sold in 2017. It is a shame it wasn't more recently though since there will be no active warranty and since the watch may not have been serviced since 2010, or maybe serviced for sale in 2017, you may need to service it yourself before too long. That is expensive with these as you have very few good aftermarket options.

Ya, I’ve checked out the info before settling on the reduced. Unfortunately, I have a tiny 6” wrist. I tried the Speedy pro and it sits too big on my wrist. Last I checked, servicing was about $900. It’s definitely pricey for an older watch. Thanks for the feedback!

These are my Mk40 Triple Dates (shows day, date, month) these have an in-house mvt that are derived from the Valjoux 7751, but are true chronographs, meaning all is incorporated into one mvt. The "stacked" module means it has a mvt for the time and a separate piggy-back, stacked, mvt for the chronograph. It's not integrated into one mvt. It's more costly to get serviced if you find someone to service it because they typically throw away the stacked module and just replace it as opposed to servicing it. The Reduced is 40mm and so is the Triple Date.
fwiw: The mk40's actually msrp'd higher than the Speedy Pro when they were sold new by a couple of hundred dollars too, it's a more complicated mvt plus it has a 24 hr hand also.

How do the numbers look? I checked online and everything seems within range except the amplitude.
