I'm a new member. This year, I started learning to service watches for fun. It's a new hobby, and I'm open to the challenge.

I purchased service vintage Omegas this spring, and they need lots of love to get them ticking. I'm looking forward to servicing these watches this summer.

I need your help identifying the authenticity of the following Omega Seamaster 120. Per the serial number, it's from 1967. The number 8 looks funny at the serial number (25048053). Attached are pictures for your reference.
Please help me identify this item.
  1. Is it fake or authentic?
  2. What is the weight of this watch? With bracelet and without the bracelet?
Thank you in advance, fellows!

Dan S. Thank you for the information.

Do you know what is the actual weight of a real one?

Thanks in advance.

Definitely fake. The weight depends on bracelet length etc.

Quickest way to tell is counting the teeth on the bezel. It should be 12 teeth per 5 minutes for a total of 144 teeth. This one has 10 teeth per 5 minutes.
