Hope the teams don't use too many testing liveries. Hate that Red Bull always teases us with sick liveries and then copy paste the last season's livery.

 

So, McLaren car reveal. I think this will be the biggest change from last season of all teams as they switched to Mercedes engines. But apart from that only very minor changes. Think they will do well with the Mercedes engine but I fear another Mercedes AMG dominant boring season, anyone that can give me some hope for something else?

 

RBR has committed to using their Honda engine and tech until 2025. At least it’s a different player on the field.

 

Yes I'm definitely looking forward to that but as they're not an engine maker per se, I don't expect insane results in the short term.

Was also reading yesterday about some rumors regarding BWT becoming a title sponsor again after Racing Point became Aston.
Word is they (BWT) are possibly in talks with HAAS and/or Williams...so there may still be a pink car.

 

BWT is severing ties with Aston née Racing points?

 

Wouldn't surprise me. AM wants the car to be British Racing Green while BWT wants Pink Panthers. It was never going to workout.

I am not a fan of F1 but part of the race track in Baku Azerbaijan is on the street that I live on. I suppose it would be daft not to watch it from my balcony with a few beers.I expect it will be a noisy affair.

I can supply the beer, its only around 60cent for a half liter bottle. In the pub it costs double that. A large G and T will set you back about 3 usd in the bars.

 

Lets be honest, as long as ham and bottas are sitting in the MBZ cars the situation is gonna stay the same; however, that being said, I will say that both pink squad and mclaren are going to really give them a run for their money. At the very least, honey badger and lando are going to give them a proper show (IMO).
