Procrastinating wildly today, so here's the car launch schedule to date. Couple of things annoying me already 1. 'AlphaTauri'. Thats just plain annoying. 2. Racing Point couldn't be arsed to come up with something better than that for a name. 3. Give Williams a break! Don't dump them at the bottom of a rando list already, even F1 people have feelings.
Wait, they are getting those shark fins back? And no HALO? That can't be accurate. That's gotta be the 2017 car... I'll be honest, I totally ignore everything the happens in the off season lol.
Wake me up when its 2021 season... Joking aside though I still think this may be an interesting season...
Got a timer on my phone for start of winter testing. Can't wait... Interesting to see Racing Point doing their launch at the title sponsor BWT's location. And Alpha Tauri being in Salzburg, probably Hangar 7.

Here we go, Stroll Snr buys stake in Aston Martin, rebranding Racing Point as AM from 2021. I'm pretty sure AM didn;t want to enter F1 as lower mid field runners but are financially over a barrel. Although there is now noise that if Merc pulls out Toto and co may go looking for a new home....gotta love silly season.
Imagine the plot twist. Racing Point (I still call them Force India) re-brands as Aston Martin with Toto at the helm and Stroll single-handedly bring himself and the team the championship. Could you imagine? Haha.
Funny you say that, that was literally what someone I know 'in the know' was suggesting to me this morning, only with the inclusion of Brawn...yikes.
Well, we all know that money is what buys the two championships. So if the new Aston Martin Team can come somewhere close to using the money Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull have available, then I think that's not too far from becoming a reality. Just remember how well Force India used to use their limited resources. Punching way above their budget!
Well with the proposed 2021 budget cap, I think most teams will have a fairly level playing field as far as spending goes...
