Yeah Hamilton at this point should move to FE. He's a (climate) activist anyway, right?

Lol! This guy is a clown. Still bragging about making a returning to F1 in 2021 as a sponsor but nothing has actually been officially released anywhere.

What is the general feeling here about the Netflix documentaries?

I find them engrossing and a window into the world - otherwise it is just cars going round and round to me. Of course, they need a narrative to keep them interesting.

LOL, of course he's backing Mazepin! 🙄

On a semi-related note, does anyone follow Haas' IG account? How about them posting a shoutout for Mazepin today?? BOLD call on their part, comments were every bit as colorful as you would have imagined...

What are people's thoughts on the engine formula just our of interest?

With Honda leaving and the costs involved there are clearly no more manufacturers coming... makes me wonder if in 5-10 years they'll be facing a choice between going electric and competing with Formula E, or just going screw the manufacturers and using a Cosworth V12 and a H-pattern manual to try to make it a driver centric spectacle and less of a car maker defined show.

Keep in mind Lewis looked like Seb on the right back in 2010, sometimes hair miraculously grows back 😀

Wow maybe that’s the reason he can’t drive anymore. They replaced him?

Ok so the grid is set:

Mercedes:
Bottas
Hamilton

Ferrari:
Leclerc
Sainz

Red Bull:
Verstappen
Perez

McLaren:
Ricciardo
Norris

Renault (Alpine):
Alonso
Ocon

Aston Martin:
Stroll
Vettel

Alfa Romeo:
Raikkonen
Giovinazzi

Alpha Tauri:
Gasly
Tsunoda

HAAS:
Mazepin
Schumacher

Williams:
Russell
Latifi

No surprises really. Deep down everyone knew that there was no way Hamilton would retire...he needs that 8th championship...for his ego lol.
And as of right now here are the confirmed car release dates:

15 February - McLaren
19 February - AlphaTauri
22 February - Alfa Romeo
2 March - Mercedes
5 March - Williams

Mercedes also wanted Lewis for the 8th title so they can rub it in Ferrari's face. There was no way Mercedes or Lewis were going to split before getting to 8. After 8, I expect Mercedes to bring the wage bill down considerably and give Lewis the boot (or he retires) and bring in Russell.
