So what are the predictions on where Perez is compared to Max.
Checo has experience but I don’t rate him as a great driver. I though Ocon had him beat at Racing Point, and it was only his money that kept him in the car.
I think it could be a difficult season for him.

I think Perez is going to do quite well. I don't think he'll be quite as good as Max, but he'll be right there with him, like Ricciardo was.

i don’t see him in the same league as Daniel, and I would be very surprised(shocked) to see him out qualify Max next season.

Idk.

the people in the paddock see the telemetry. It’s how everyone knew Russel could drive even in the bad car.

same with some insights that F1 takes for gospel about Bottas that doesn’t seem to make sense from just watching the race.

I think they know something about Perez as well as it was heavily assumed Lance would loose his seat.

Perez has definitely improved and matured since the Force India days. He has been a solid pair of hands in his time at Racing Point(yes same team I know).
He does seem to be able to be smooth on tyres, and do long stints better than most, and has made few mistakes.
Out of the drivers choices available he is a solid pair of hands, but I don’t think Max will be challenged.

He wants to continue doing what he loves? Lol I don't know.
As for his move, as of this past season, he will actually be sliding up hah.

I suppose this is Raikkonen’s motivation. Although it’s hard to see how he can be a motivation for the team just driving round on a Sunday.

He's got valuable experience...probably. Maybe lol.
He's at least good for some sound clips.
I don't blame him for hanging around for so long either.
I mean he gets paid $4.5 million a year to try to make some passes and stay out of peoples way.
Doesn't sound like a bad gig to me!

I don't fault Kimi. Most drivers have their rides taken away from them. If someone is still willing to pay you millions of dollars to travel the world and drive a F1 car you should do it while you can. Plus he has plenty of time to enjoy retirement.

My understanding is F1 rules stipulate that the power unit manufacturer with the fewest customers is obliged to supply a power unit to a team without one. That means Renault back to Red Bull as a fall back option if there are no alternatives. RB may play their “we will withdraw from the sport” card before they get back into bed with Renault.

Go Sir Hamilton!!!

As for Kimi... Kimi is most likely the best development driver currently racing. My guess is Ferrari is using Alfa to dev parts for the future and is using Kimi for that purpose. Even Vettle differs to Kimi on setups. Vettel admitted more then a few time publicly that when he got lost in a setup he just had them put Kimi’s on and it worked.

It’s the only thing that makes sense as otherwise they would stick a young driver from their program in there.

Saw this on reddit. Hope the AM car has the signature green...and not pink!

Sir Lewis Hamilton

(Although Sir Lewis’s was ‘Diplomatic and Overseas’ as he lives in the tax haven of Monaco 😒)

HAHAHHAHA no...

In real news, Hamilton does not currently have a ride for 2021 still.
