So now there should be only two seats up for grabs or yet to be confirmed, Gio's at Alfa Romeo opposite Bottas, and Lance Stroll at Aston Martin. For the latter one would imagine Lance's seat is a done deal indefinitely unless his dad stops loving him at some point or the Aston Martin board decides to put results ahead of nepotism.
Lol, this doesn't need a confirmation. Lance is in the seat as long as he's halfway decent. He scores points a decent amount of time with an occasional podium. Until AM takes a real step up in competitiveness, he isn't going anywhere.

Yea I know, I'm just a bit jealous that my dad didn't buy me an F1 team when I was 18

It is easy to crap on Lance Stroll because his dad bought him a seat and then a team. However, he actually is a decent driver. While he is horrible in qualifying and isn’t world champion material, I can see him winning the odd race or two in the right car and conditions.

And Albon back in F1 w/ Williams.

Very pleased to see him back. Who knows the connection between Alex Albon and this drinking trough for dogs?

Is that the location where they discovered the special combination of ingredients that make up Red Bull?

Could be. Dead leaves infused in the piss of customers of the pub on the other side of the road?

FTAOD I have never tasted RedBull, however I have drunk beer in that pub when I worked just around the corner. Decent pub, not fancy but good beer and live music.

Ok, so I was massively wrong. It can happen…

Russel takes Bottas seat, who takes Kimi’s… Albon switched sides to the MB junior team…

Hamilton’s mental state next year will be fascinating.

Sauber leaving Ferrari now seems to make some sense…. Sorry the Sauber team currently contracted to be called Alfa…

Nobody?

OK then, the bottom line of the inscription includes "Prince Chula of Siam". Siam is now called Thailand -- but there's more. Chula (Chula Chakrabongse) had a motor racing team in England called White Mouse Stable (Chula's nickname was little mouse). When his cousin Prince Birabongse Bhanudej Bhanubandh came to England to study and wanted to go motor-racing he joined White Mouse of course. B. Bira as he was normally known, was a useful driver and raced in Grands Prix through the 1930s to 1950s in ERA, Delahaye, Connaught, Ferrari and Maserati cars. Bira was the first Thai I can find who raced in Grands Prix then were none until Alex Albon came along.

White Mouse / Bira had 3 ERAs and they all still exist, here's one painted in the Siam racing colours as it was in the 1930s.

I do hope the F1 race is as much fun as today’s first F2 race - heaps of overtaking, spins, bingles, it was great fun. 600 horsepower with little downforce, cold tyres and eager drivers makes for top racing 😉

The sprint qualifying is a really enjoyable format, more drama and risk and more entertainment for the fans

Kimi would have won that sprint if he could race.
Would have, could have, should have.👎 You have to be in it to win it.😝

I have definitely appreciated these in helmet perspectives. I don’t think George’s perspective is quite as nice as Alonso’s, but it awesome nevertheless. It would be incredible if they fitted each diver with one so we can see how intense a “start” is.

This is one thing the roll hoop camera doesn’t show… just look at how tucked in George is to the AT at the start of the Sprint

The honey badger! Oh, how I love races like this.

Thoughts about the incident? I’d call it a racing incident - if I was forced to blame someone it’d be Lewis, I‘m afraid. Just didn’t leave the room for Max who was reasonably far alongside him.

Verstappen #KlompenLand not a gentleman driver, didn't even take a moment to see if Lewis Hamilton was O.K. !
In the days of Senna, Mansell & Prost... everyone was a gentleman driver !
